This Boer goat was a show wether, which we took in from a neighbor's FFA project. They don't have goat fencing. I don't really want to take him to the sale barn, despite high prices being offered for meat goats.
He is extremely handsome and would have made an outstanding buck, but too late now! His name is Oreo. He strongly resembles cookies-n-cream ice cream.
He is just over a year old, and very large. Hand reared and friendly, although his size may be overwhelming to young children.
Our herd is show quality Boers, and he doesn't really belong with the breeders.
